Our Story
StartSmart Investing was born out of a passion to make investing accessible for everyone, especially teens and young adults.

Founded by Jack Sterchi and Zach Seidner, two college students who saw the overwhelming lack of financial education among their peers, StartSmart Investing aims to bridge that gap. We realized that many young people were missing out on the power of compound interest simply because they didn’t know where to begin.
With a background in financial education and a commitment to helping others, we launched StartSmart Investing to provide personalized guidance to teens and their families. Our mission is to simplify the investing process by helping individuals set up their first investment accounts and learn the skills needed to manage them confidently.
